Στο beam, πιστεύουμε ότι η τέχνη είναι ένα ισχυρό εργαλείο για κοινωνική αλλαγή και ότι οι καλλιτέχνες μπορούν να επωφεληθούν από μια κοινότητα που βοηθάει τη δημιουργικότητά τους. Ως οργάνωση που διευθύνεσαι από καλλιτέχνες παρέχουμε ένα περιβάλλον τροφής σε ανερχόμενους και καταξιωμένους καλλιτέχνες για να αναπτύξουν την πρακτική τους, να ανταλλάξουν ιδέες και να εμπλακούν με την τοπική κοινότητα.
Η προσέγγισή μας βασίζεται στη συνεργασία, τον πειραματισμό και τις διεπιστημονικές πρακτικές. Ενθαρρύνουμε τους καλλιτέχνες να αμφισβητήσουν τα όριά τους, να εξερευνήσουν νέα μέσα και να ξεπεράσουν τα όρια της δημιουργικότητάς τους. Μέσω του προγράμματος διαμονής μας, στοχεύουμε να δημιουργήσουμε έναν χώρο όπου οι καλλιτέχνες μπορούν να συνδεθούν μεταξύ τους, να μοιραστούν τις εμπειρίες τους και να αναπτύξουν νέες δεξιότητες.

OBJECTIVES
At bEam, we believe that art is a powerful tool for social change and that artists can benefit from a supportive community that fosters their creativity. As an artist run artist residency in Thessaloniki, Greece, we provide a nurturing environment for emerging and established artists to develop their practice, exchange ideas, and engage with the local community.
Our approach is based on collaboration, experimentation, and interdisciplinary practices. We encourage artists to challenge their boundaries, explore new mediums, and push the limits of their creativity. Through our residency program, we aim to create a space where artists can connect with each other, share their experiences, and develop new skills.
